About Us

Archway Tech Repairs is an independent, walk-in device repair shop at 647 Holloway Road, London N19 5SE, in Archway, North London. Our qualified and certified repair technicians fix mobile phones, iPhones, Samsung devices, laptops, MacBooks, PCs, iPads and tablets, Apple Watches and PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles – with diagnostics and board-level motherboard work done here in the shop rather than posted away.

Who we are

The shop is run by the Archway Tech Repairs Technical Team, device repair specialists with years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing the phones, laptops, tablets, MacBooks and gaming devices people rely on every day. Our customers are mostly local – people from Archway, Highgate, Holloway, Tufnell Park and the wider North London area whose device has just broken and who want it looked at in person, today. Others travel in from across London for more complex work, and we also help people who simply want an honest view on whether a device is worth repairing at all, as well as households and small businesses with several devices to sort out.

How we work

We give straight answers before you commit. Every device starts with a free in-store check-up (water-damaged devices are excluded and have separate terms). We assess the fault and explain the repair options and expected cost before any work starts, and if the cost changes once the device is opened, we tell you before continuing. Complex motherboard work can carry a non-refundable diagnostic or service charge. Many common repairs are completed the same day, depending on the fault and parts availability; where a part has to be ordered, timing depends on availability. Every device is tested before it goes back to you, and we offer free recycling.

Applicable repairs are covered by our warranty policy: 14 days on applicable parts repairs and charging port repairs, 28 days on LCD/screen repairs, with one free re-repair for the same issue subject to the stated conditions. Successfully repaired water-damaged devices carry a limited seven-day re-repair guarantee.

Are you an Apple repair centre?

No. Archway Tech Repairs is an independent repair provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.

Do you only repair phones?

No. We repair laptops, MacBooks, PCs, iPads, tablets, Apple Watches and games consoles as well as phones, all in the same shop.

Do I need an appointment?

No – you can walk in. If you would like to check your part first, see Quick Booking.

Will a repair affect my phone’s water resistance?

It can. A repaired device may not retain its original manufacturer water-resistance rating.

Repair times and costs vary depending on the device, the extent of damage and the availability of replacement parts.
