Booking is optional – no appointment is needed and you can simply walk in – but sending your details first lets us check the fault and your part before you travel.

What to have ready when you book

• Your device and model – for example the exact iPhone, Samsung, laptop, MacBook or console you have.
• The fault – a cracked screen, a battery that drains fast, a charging port that will not charge, water damage, a software fault or a device that will not switch on. Write it in the “Issue In Your Device” box.
• A date and time that suit you, plus your name, email and phone number so we can reply.
• A backup, if you can make one. If the device still works, back up your data before you bring it in. If it does not, ask us about data recovery and backup support.

How booking works and what happens next

1. Send the form, call, email or walk in. Tell us the model and the fault and we will confirm whether it is a same-day job and roughly what it will cost.
2. Free in-store check-up and diagnostics. A technician inspects the device and finds the fault. Water-damaged devices are not covered by the free check-up and have separate terms.
3. Quote and options before any work starts. We explain the repair options and the expected cost. If the cost changes once the device is opened, we tell you before continuing. Complex motherboard work can carry a non-refundable diagnostic or service charge.
4. Parts and repair. The repair is carried out in store, from screens, batteries and charging ports to board-level motherboard work. If a part has to be ordered, the timing depends on availability.
5. Testing and collection. The device is checked before it goes back to you.
6. Warranty. Applicable repairs are covered by our warranty policy: 14 days on applicable parts and charging port repairs and 28 days on LCD/screen repairs, with one free re-repair for the same issue subject to the stated conditions. Successfully repaired water-damaged devices carry a limited seven-day re-repair guarantee.

Many common repairs are completed the same day, depending on the fault and parts availability. One customer review describes a laptop with a broken screen frame and damaged hinge: the parts were ordered and the repair was completed within a couple of hours once they arrived.

Do I need an appointment, or can I just walk in?

No appointment is needed – you can walk in. Booking or calling first lets us check the fault and whether we have your part before you travel.

Can you do it today?

Many common repairs are completed the same day, depending on the fault and parts availability. Complex or parts-dependent jobs take longer, and we will tell you the expected timing when we quote.

How much will my repair cost?

It depends on the device, the model and the fault, so we give you a clear quote before any work begins rather than a fixed price list. If the cost changes once the device is opened, we tell you before continuing.

Do you have my part in stock?

Send the model and the fault through the form or call 020 7263 0607 and we will confirm. Where a part has to be ordered, the timing depends on availability.

Can you fix a water-damaged device?

We assess water damage in store, but not every water-damaged device can be saved. Water damage is excluded from the free check-up and has separate terms, including a limited seven-day re-repair guarantee on successfully repaired devices.

Are you an Apple repair centre?

No. Archway Tech Repairs is an independent repair provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.

Repair times and costs vary depending on the device, the extent of damage and the availability of replacement parts. A repaired device may not retain its original manufacturer water-resistance rating.
